Life After Camp

http://totallycoolpix.com/
Even when refugees are able to get out a camp, they aren’t sure what their future would be like. Their villages they used to live in had been destroyed and parts of their families were lost. Schools, hospitals, and other public buildings lie in ruins. They still worry about the Taliban and doubt the government can protect them. It takes about 17 years on average for refugees to resettle somewhere else or return home. When they do, the they no longer have skills they need to rebuild their countries. They can’t re-enter work after they left the camp.

Life after camp is practically worse than being in the camp itself, but refugee camps cannot support the people forever so refugees have to leave sometime. Going back to their old villages is impossible because they have been destroyed. They cannot work because they don't know how do do much. Getting enough food to feed themselves is difficult. Life is harsh for people who had to leave camp.
